When you use our Moonshop mobile application, as the case may be ("App") and more generally, use any of our services ("Services", which include the App), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy notice that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.
This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our Services (which, as described above, includes our App), as well as, any related services, sales, marketing or events.

Here at Cape AI, we are committed to collecting and processing your information in a way that is honest, ethical, and consistent with the applicable laws and our values. Below we set out your rights with regards to your personal information and how you can exercise them
You have the right to have information held about you corrected if it is not accurate. In order to request a correction, you may contact us at support@moonshoptechnologies.com.
You have the right to make a request for a copy of the personal information that Cape AI holds on you. In order to make a request, you may contact us at support@moonshoptechnologies.com.
If you no longer want to receive marketing messages from us, please contact support@moonshoptechnologies.com. If you choose to unsubscribe or opt out, we will hold your contact information in a marked file so that we do not contact you again.
In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to Cape AI processing your personal information. Please contact support@moonshoptechnologies.com to make an inquiry.
Should you believe that Cape AI has used your personal information contrary to applicable law, contact support@moonshoptechnologies.com to lodge a complaint. If you are not satisfied with such a process, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
Personal information means any information which uniquely identifies you, and includes information such as your email address and names.
All the personal information we collect when you use the App or other Services, both from you and from third parties about you, is outlined in the table below.

Legitimate Interests: We may process your data when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests.
Performance of a Contract: Where we have entered into a contract with you, we may process your personal information to fulfill the terms of our contract.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).
Vital Interests: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
More specifically, we may need to process your data or share your personal information in the following situations:
Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
We may be required to transfer your personal information to countries outside of South Africa. In which case, we will fully comply with the applicable laws in those destinations. This may happen if our servers and service providers are based outside of South Africa, including the European Economic Area (EEA). Countries in the EEA are considered to have adequate data protection laws.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our App is at your own risk. You should only access the App within a secure environment.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the App. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
